Modoc Gardens Positions Available for 2023 Season

  • Farm Assistant

    Will assist the owners in the following, but not limited to:

    • Planting, maintaining, and harvesting flower and pumpkin crops

    • Planting maintaining, and harvesting produce to put out on the self-serve produce wagon

    • Animal Care-feeding, washing, brushing, and cleaning out stalls

    • Managing the petting area on days open to public or during private events at Modoc Gardens

    • Farm maintenance such as mowing, fence building & repair, painting structures/equipment

    Pay: starting at $12 an hour

    Part Time Availability: Can sign up to work 4.5hrs every other week to 17hrs a week.

  • Hospitality Guide

    Includes the follow duties:

    • Welcome Shed Attendant- greeting customers, working the register (Square system), maintaining the shop/sales areas

    • Modoc Gardens Guide- engage positively with guests, provide golf cart rides and tours to guests as needed

    • Field Trip, Workshop, and Private Party Attendant - help set up materials, create a sample as needed, lead or assist with activities such as flower arranging/ giant bubble making/ pumpkin carving, maintain area materials, and clean up activity area

    • Marketing- Stage area for photos as needed, take photos to be utilized in marketing, assist with creating social media content

    • Farm Assistance - as needed will help with farm animal encounters, planting flowers and produce, creating handmade items for retail area

    Pay: Starting at $12 an hour
